SafestMail works based on
permissions, similar to the way you manage
your own home - some people are allowed to
come in, others are not allowed at all and
there are still those who show up and ring
the bell and then you decide to let them
come in or not.
In case the sender does not fit any of the
above conditions, a quick identification
will be requested aiming not to bother the
well-intentioned sender. Once identified, a
popup will ask for your approval - you may
enable it, deny it, read the message or
simply keep it in quarantine.
Complicated? It's simpler than you imagine -
in the installation the Microsoft
Outlook/Outlook Express address book, as
well as all email addresses to which you've
sent previous messages were imported to the
"whitelist"! Also, for all those
to whom you send new messages their e-mail
addresses will be automatically enabled -
this way, by using the system both enabled
and denied lists will be updated.
You could even import the email addresses
from any folder or contact list from
Microsoft Outlook!
And please do not ask for those who send you
an email to count how many cats there are on
the roof of the figure you see, like some
internet providers do - this is not
professional at all - SafestMail is more
simple, safer and faster, beside the fact
that you don't have to send your contact
list to anywhere...
In addition, SafestMail is also pioneer in
protecting your outgoing emails by hindering
Trojans and other viruses (like MyDoom) from
taking control of your computer.
